“Batman:The Killing Joke” will screen in Costa Rica on July 29 and 30. The limited engagement is to heighten the excitement even more, intended so that fans would be more eager to purchase the DVD.
In the film, Mark Hamill voices The Joker and Kevin Conroy as the titular character.
In the U.S. “Batman: The Killing Joke” will be released on Blu-Ray DVD sometime around August. There is no word yet when the DVD will be available in Costa Rica.
The animated film is an adaption of the graphic novel of the same name. The story partly reveals The Joker’s background and his descent to madness. The reason he became Batman’s arch nemesis is almost as sinister as his transformation.
“Batman: The Killing Joke” will screen at Cinemark Mutltiplaza Escazu, City Mall and Multiplaza Este (Curridabat), the latter with multiple screens both on Friday and Saturday, starting at 1:00pm.
