COSTA RICA CONFIDENTIAL – Johanna Solano López (San José, October 9, 1990) is a Costa Rican model, beauty queen, and fitness expert. She was chosen as Miss Costa Rica 2011 and participated in Miss Universe 2011 where she was ranked among the ten semifinalists.
In television, in November 2018, she won the 5th season of Dancing with the Stars.
Johanna was born in San José, on October 9, 1990, the second daughter of four siblings. She dropped out of the Hispanoamericana University, Heredia, to dedicate herself to modeling and fitness, especially triathlon. She is fluent in English as well as Portuguese.
Her career took off when she moved to Mexico, at the invitation of Televisa to host fitness and cycling programs. As a result of her in Mexico, she participated in athletic, cycling and triathlon races in Mexico City, Monterrey, Cozumel and others, occupying good positions in the results.
Johanna is the star in the Costa Rican film, “A un Paso de Mí” directed by Jose Mario Salas.
