COSTA RICA EXTRA – The Acólitos del Morbo (Bitchy Acolytes in English) is more than a band, they are described as a “noble industry dedicated to the sublime art of decadence”.
Billing themselves as “something similar to Art”, this tight-knit group of performers has five CD’s under their belt and strong following.
I had the opportunity to catch them live at the El Cuartel de la Boca del Monte, in Barrio California, on Saturday night. They were loud, gritty but touched the soul with their rock fusion to other genres. And they kept on playing, almost two hours of solid music, with only a short break in between.
When it came to leave the stage, the music went on several pieces after the “official” last.
