COSTA RICA EXTRA — Three celebrity Ticas (Costa Rican women) put aside their make-up for one day, pose “au naturel”, as part of a campaign launched by Lizeth Castro (www.lizethcastro.tv), that will run until Wednesday.

They are Johana Solano, Miss Costa Rica 2011; and television personalities, Jalé Berahimi, of Intrusos (canal 11), and Marilín Gamboa, of 7 Estrellas (canal 7).

The shared a photo session with three women who braved illness or physical problems and are examples of overcoming them.

The program is called “Divinas obras de arte” (Divine works of art).

Johanna Solano, who reached the top 10 finalists in the Miss Universe 2011 contest, said she never say herself doing anything as radical as daring to pose without the help of make-up.

As for any criticism that it might get, Solano said she is not worried.
